For my real estate agent, I would want someone who is knowledgeable and experienced in their market and who practiced real estate as a full time career.  For these reasons I would try to find an agent with advanced education and designations such as CRS (Certified Residential Specialist), ePRO (Internet Professional), and GRI (Graduate Realtor Institute). This commitment to professionalism is fundamental to providing quality real estate services to buyers and sellers.

Second, I would want an agent that took a personal interest in my needs and someone who would communicate with me throughout the process.  This person would ideally have high ethical values and personal integrity.  How a transaction is accomplished is just as important to me as actually accomplishing it.  As one of my competitors once told me, "I have learned a lot from you.  You have taught me to always 'take the high road.'" This is one of the highest compliments I have ever received.

Because this is the type of realtor that I would like to use myself, this is the type of realtor that I strive to be.  I also expect this level of service from those who work with me at Mountain West, REALTORS®.
